Ongoing work to widen the 215 Beltway will prompt closures of the highway ramps at Charleston Boulevard and Sahara Avenue this week.
The scheduled closures are:
- Northbound 215 to Sahara exit ramp will be closed until 6 p.m. Wednesday.
- Southbound 215 on ramp from Charleston will be closed from 5 a.m. Wednesday to 6 p.m. Thursday.
- Southbound 215 to Sahara exit ramp will be closed from 5 a.m. Wednesday to 6 p.m. Thursday.
- Northbound 215 to Charleston exit ramp will be closed from 5 a.m. Thursday to 6 p.m. Friday.
- Northbound 215 on ramp from Sahara will be closed from 5 a.m. Thursday to 6 p.m. Friday.
In addition, Hughes Park Drive will be limited to one travel lane in each direction until 6 p.m. Friday.
The overall project will widen the 215 to four lanes in each direction between Charleston and Tropicana Avenue. It is expected to be finished in January. Las Vegas Paving is the contractor for the project.
