With a Little Help from my Friends
OK, so maybe we’re not friends quite yet. But we could be. I’m a fairly decent guy. Good sense of humor. And by most accounts, I’ve been a very good boss.
But in this case, I’m not looking for employees. Right now, I’m just looking for a few people to help out by providing some good content for the readers of this site.
Do you like to eat out? Send me a little story about your favorite restaurant. Maybe a photo as well. Know someone who volunteers a lot of time to various causes? People in the community need to know about them. Is your kid a stud shortstop at the local high school? Again, that’s a story.
No deadlines will be given. Maybe a little copy editing, though. Can’t be having grammar or spelling mistakes … at least as best as I can help it.
The best thing about a site like this is there is only one ground rule, that it have a local angle. Easy enough.
And even if you don’t want to write the article yourself, send the story idea along anyway. Good story pitches are always welcome.
